Who We Are
Joan Hornig Jewelry was launched in 2003 at Bergdorf Goodman in New York and is currently sold online and at fine retailers across the United States. Collection pieces are one-of-a-kind or produced in very limited editions for the true jewelry aficionado. We also offer a sterling silver and vermeil line called the Silver Lining Collection as well as the Tools for Giving Collection, featuring designs in brass and sterling silver. We work to insure that every consumer can become a philanthropist and every non-profit can benefit from our jewelry. Sales to date have generated over one million dollars in donations to over 900 non-profit organizations around the world.
How We Can Help
Philanthropy is Beautiful® trunk shows give non-profit supporters the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind fine jewelry while raising funds for the designated non-profit organization. We coordinate with your organization to provide a piece selection that makes sense for your supporters and work with one of our select retailers to schedule a date and time for the event. We can also come to a location selected by the non-profit host, including but not limited to, board meetings and other such events. 100% of the profit from items sold at that event or events are donated to the designated organization.
Give your organization's supporters the opportunity to support your non-profit virtually with our jewelry. The Philanthropy is Beautiful® graphic design department will create a custom mailer that instructs readers on how they can support your organization through Philanthropy is Beautiful®. The featured non-profit can then send the mailer to anyone it wishes, providing the recipients with a new avenue for supporting.
For large quantity orders, Philanthropy is Beautiful® gives non-profits the benefit of wholesale pricing using the following protocol:
- A minimum order is placed and paid for at the wholesale price by the organization.
- Joan Hornig donates the profits to the organization immediately after the payment.
- The organization then uses the pieces as needed. Most organizations decide to sell them directly to their supporters.
We also offer customized packaging that includes the organization's name.
We are always open to new ideas on how to make the world a better place and welcome your input. Please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to discuss in more detail how we can best leverage our resources to raise funds for your organization.
